Miranda’s Peanut Butter Pie

miranda

One the sexiest things about MIRANDA LAMBERT is that she makes no apologies about her body. If you don’t like the way she looks, too bad. And if SHE doesn’t like the way she looks on a particular day, she slips into a pair of Spanx and moves on.

–Miranda tells “Good Housekeeping”, quote, “I’m not naturally small. And I’m fine with that, because so many girls come up to me and say, ‘Thank you for being normal-sized. It gives us hope that you don’t have to be a size two to be somebody.’”

–That doesn’t mean Miranda ignores her diet. She says, quote, “I live on a bus. You’re just sitting there all day, and you start getting snack-y. I don’t keep chips, because I’ll eat them all.”

–Instead, she’ll eat a slice of turkey or a handful of roasted nuts and crunch on carrots with a low-fat dip.

–Like everybody, there are times when Miranda lets it fly at the dinner table, but she doesn’t get all bummed about it. Her solution is pretty simple, she says, quote, “Every girl lives in Spanx. If they don’t, they should.”

–On more thing: Miranda is always talking about how much she loves cooking . . . so she shared her recipe for BLAKE SHELTON’S favorite peanut butter pie recipe. I’m no pastry chef . . . but this thing sounds pretty simple. Here are the ingredients:

–3/4 cup of crunch peanut butter

–3/4 cup of sugar

–1/3 cup of cornstarch

–One teaspoon of salt

–Four Cups of whole milk

–Four large egg yolks, lightly beaten

–Three tablespoons of room temperature butter

–One tablespoon of vanilla
