A Doe… A Deer… A Female Deer… come on sing along!

A Doe… A Deer… A Female Deer… come on sing along!

I am super excited about the LIVE performance of The Sound of Music. I bet I’ve watched the movie 100 times. I know all of the songs and all of the Von Trapp kids names. Gretl was my favorite, because she was the smallest and the most adorbable. Now one of my favorite all time singers, Carrie Underwood, will play Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music on a live three-hour broadcast airing December 5 on NBC. Julie Andrews of course played her back in 1965.  She too is thrilled that Carrie is taking on this role. She was quoted as saying ” Carrie’s great and I think after nearly 50 years it’s probably time somebody else had a crack at it.”  Can’t wait! carrie u sound of music
