All This Flu Going Around Makes Me Feel Icky

All This Flu Going Around Makes Me Feel Icky

So I am a certified germaphone. I admit it. I hate to be sick. I am a horrible patient.  I’m too busy to be sick. I mean, all Mom’s will second that.  When the Mom gets sick, the world stops. Atleast that’s what I think. Everywhere I turn, TV, Facebook, online, on the radio, magazine covers, newspapers, flashing signs at Walgreens. Flu, Flu, Flu! Uggghhh. I did get a flu shot and you’d think that would put me at ease. But I am more than stressed out about catching the flu. A friend of mine who is in the healthcare field told me the stress of worrying about catching the flu will weaken my immune system and increase my odds of catching the dreaded virus.  REALLY?  Uh oh!  I didn’t think of that.  I guess I just need to let it go and quit obsessing. I’ll do that.. right after I spray the control room of the radio station with Lysol, wipe the counters down with the chlorox wipes and wash my hands while I sing Happy Birthday!  Stay well!
