ACM New Artist of the Year Semi-Finalists:

  • Lee BriceLee Brice

  • Brett EldredgeBrett Eldredge

  • Tyler FarrTyler Farr

  • Justin MooreJustin Moore

  • Kip MooreKip Moore

  • Kacey MusgravesKacey Musgraves

  • ParmaleeParmalee

  • Thomas RhettThomas Rhett

That’s going to be hard to pick. I love all of them.  Justin Moore has worked so hard!  He’s a great performer, sings from his roots and he’s from Arkansas. I just love him!  Then there’s Lee Brice who put on one helluva show at the Barbecue Festival, Kacey Musgraves just rocks! I loved EVERY song on her debut album.  Thomas Rhett.. OMG!  He’s just been a star this past year. So many great songwriting credits. Brett Eldrege jumped out of a plane for heavens sake, he should get an award just for that. And then there is Paramalee. So awesome to see more bands break out.  Kip Moore was just a sweetheart at the fair a couple of years ago and “Hey Pretty Girl”… swoon!  Tyler Farr’s “Redneck Crazy” was a smash!  The jury is still out on who’ll get my vote. But I can say that ALL are deserving. So get to voting!  Here’s the link.

REVIEW: ‘Unfriended’ is topical, current and smart

In this image released by Universal Pictures, Shelley Henning appears in a scene from "Unfriended."

"Unfriended" is seen soley from a laptop screen, yet it never gets visually dull and never feels limited by the gimmick.
