New Miranda Album Will Drop June 3rd

New Miranda Album Will Drop June 3rd

Miranda Lambert’s forthcoming “Platinum” album has an official release date! Her fifth full-length project featuring her current hit “Automatic” will be released June 3.

On the album’s cover, the powerhouse singer looks absolutely stunning in a flowing black gown, complete with a pair of shimmering cowgirl boots. She is seen looking pensive, exiting what appears to be a silver Airstream, surrounded by studded gems and culminating in her signature pistol cross-bone-style logo.

“From the day you kinda go I need to start looking for songs and writing songs, it feels like no matter how much time you have, you’re rushed,” Lambert noted in an official statement. “And so I didn’t want to rush it at all. To me it’s all about timing and making sure that you can feel like you can finally sit there and go, OK, the album’s done, and never have a moment where you go, I wish we could change that or I wish we had a different song.”

On the album’s 16 tracks, Lambert wrote or co-wrote eight songs.  Carrie Underwood fans  will be happy to know that she lends her vocals to a song called “Something Bad” with Lambert, bringing together two of the hottest superstars.
