KAIT and the Jonesboro Radio Group invite you to celebrate the 4th of July at the BIGGEST FREE fireworks display in Jonesboro history!  Freedom Fest 2015, Saturday, July 4th 9:30 p.m. at the Southside softball complex on Stadium Blvd. in Jonesboro!

Freedom Fest 2015 sets an ALL NEW STANDARD with thousands of digitally fired pyrotechnics with a mind blowing opening barrage, endless displays, grand illuminations and COLOSSAL, grand finale!

All set to patriotic music on Jonesboro Radio Group stations:  104.9 The Fox, 100.5 The Eagle, Mix 106.3, Hot 107.5, Sunny 98.5 and ESPN Jonesboro 92.7!

And it’s ALL FREE to the general public….because the price for freedom has already been paid.

Simple

Freedom Fest is designed to be the exciting climax to a great 4th of July for you and your family.  There are no live events or other attractions at Freedom Fest.  This is simply the biggest, greatest, free fireworks display in the State of Arkansas.  Bring your family, your lawn chairs, your blanket — find a place to park, and enjoy a great show.

Fireworks Music

Be sure to have your radio turned to 104.9 The Fox, 100.5 The Eagle, Mix 106.3, Hot 107.5, Sunny 98.5 or ESPN Jonesboro 92.7.  We will have pre-show information, plus our special music accompanies the fireworks show.

Parking

Parking will be directed by members of the 875 Engineering Battalion Arkansas Army National Guard.  These skilled soldiers are drafting a plan to get people into the softball park, parked as quickly as possible, and be ready to exit as easily as possible when the show is over.  There will be hundreds of vehicles present, and there will be delays getting in and out, but the National Guard will do the very best to make the process as easy as possible.  Don’t wait until last minute to arrive!  We will open the gates at 7:00 for free parking.  There will be concessions on site.  There will be rest room facilities on site.  We highly recommend getting to the softball complex early, find a place to park, and enjoy some family time before the fireworks begin.

Personal Fireworks

You are reminded that shooting personal fireworks on the Softball Complex (or anywhere in the city limits) is prohibited by law.  Due to concerns for safety of those parked on the softball complex facility, shooting personal fireworks will not be tolerated.  Jonesboro Police will write tickets for violators.

Exit

The Jonesboro Police Department is fully aware of the amount of traffic that will be present in South Jonesboro on the 4th of July.  For that reason, JPD has 20 police units scheduled to man 17 different intersections where traffic signals can be manually operated to provide the fastest traffic flow.   All traffic exiting the Southball Softball Complex will be forced to exit NORTH.  Northbound traffic on Caraway Road and Stadium Blvd are advised that JPD will not allow turns East or West off of Caraway Road, or West off of Stadium Blvd, until traffic reaches the Highway 63 Bypass unless you live in the neighborhood you are attempting to turn into.

Sponsors

Freedom Fest would not be possible without the financial support of our sponsors.  We appreciate their continued support of this exciting family event!  Freedom Fest is presented by Centennial Bank, Central DealershipsMedic One Ambulance, NEA Baptist Clinic and Memorial Hospital, and Suddenlink Communications.

Bring the whole family and join us LIVE at Freedom Fest 2015, Saturday, July 4th 9:30 p.m. at the Southside softball complex in Jonesboro!  FROM KAIT, and the Jonesboro Radio Group.
