Actress Courteney Cox is engaged to her rocker boyfriend Johnny McDaid.

The former “Friends” star took to Twitter.com on Thursday to share the good news with her followers by posting a close-up shot of herself with her new fiancé, along with a caption which read: “I’m engaged to him!”

The Snow Patrol star, 37, posted the same “selfie” on his Twitter page.

Cox, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday with McDaid in Turks and Caicos, began dating the rocker last year after mutual friend Ed Sheeran set them up.

The couple reportedly moved in together in April.

This is the first marriage for McDaid and the second for Cox, who split from ex-husband David Arquette in 2010 after 11 years together. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Coco.
