Country star Jason Aldean will live out his baseball dreams this year after striking a deal to tour sports stadiums across North America.

The “My Kinda Party” hitmaker made history last year when he became the first country artist to play a concert at Boston, Massachusetts’ historic Fenway Park baseball field, a show which sold out in just seven minutes.

Now Aldean, who had considered pursuing his love of sports as a child, is preparing to hit the stage at numerous baseball arenas around the continent with Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr as his support acts, as part of his Burn It Down tour.

Making the announcement on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America on Thursday, he said, “It’s called the 2014 Burn It Down tour, partnered with Major League Baseball. We’re gonna go play a bunch of stadiums this year… I think it’s gonna be total, about 50 shows… It’s gonna be a fun year.”

A full list of venues and dates is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
