Taylor Swift gets geeky to promote ‘Tonight’ appearance

Taylor Swift channeled her inner nerd as she promoted an upcoming appearance on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The “Love Story” hitmaker is poised to pay a visit to the talk show on Wednesday, and in a video Swift posted on YouTube.com on Friday, she donned fake braces and oversized reading glasses to play a nerdy character called Natalie.

In the clip, ‘Natalie’ requests to be on a TV show called “Ew!” in a sketch featuring Fallon dressed as a teenage girl named Sara.

Swift says in the video, “Hey Sara, it’s Natalie. Remember me? Our moms were best friends in college. So I’m really excited because my mom said we are going to come visit you and your mom and your dad. I heard that you have that television show called ‘Ew!’ Maybe I can be on it. I think it would be lots of fun, so let me know if you want to chill.”

Fallon has previously recruited the likes of Hollywood hunks Zac Efron and Channing Tatum to dress in drag for the popular sketch, and also featured Lindsay Lohan and First Lady Michelle Obama in past skits as well.
