‘The Wonder Years’ cast reunites

Fred Savage, Danica McKellar and their former “The Wonder Years” co-stars enjoyed a rare reunion this week as they came together for a photo shoot.

The cast of the family drama reunited on Wednesday to shoot promotional pictures for the upcoming release of the series on DVD.

Savage posed for shots with former his onscreen love interest McKellar, while other castmembers at the shoot included Jason Harvey, Josh Saviano, Olivia D’Abo, Alley Mills, and Dan Lauria.

McKellar posted a photo on Instagram.com showing the entire clan sitting at a replica of the Arnold family’s kitchen table, while Savage shared a group ‘selfie’, along with the caption, “#WonderYearsDVD coming soon… ”

“The Wonder Years,” which ended its six-season run in 1993, has faced many hurdles in order to be released on DVD due to music licensing issues.

The soundtrack included the iconic theme tune – Joe Cocker’s rendition of The Beatles classic “With a Little Help From My Friends”.
