R&B star Lauryn Hill has been released from prison after serving three months for tax evasion.

The former Fugees singer walked free from the minimum security Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. on Friday morning.

She was jailed in July for failing to file her tax returns between 2005 and 2007.

The Grammy winner has marked her release by releasing new track “Consumerism,” which is set to feature on her next album “Letters From Exile.”
