Squidward Worked At KAIT

Rodger Bumpass grew up in Little Rock, attended ASU, and worked at KAIT during the early days as a booth announcer.

Bumpass

He hosted a show on KAIT called Kumquat Theater. He went on to Hollywood, and kids and parents today know his voice as the voice of Squidward on Spongebob Squarepants! And, Rodger’s son and grandson live HERE in Jonesboro! We’re pretty pumped. We got to talk to Rodger, aka Squidward, this morning on Stafford and Frigo as part of the KAIT 50th Birthday Celebration!

Click the podcast links below to hear the visit with Rodger’s son Brandon and grandson Braden, who live in this area!  The second link is the visit with Rodger with a little help from grandson, Braden!

Thanks Rodger for spending some time this morning with Stafford and Frigo!
