Date set for monthly Neighborhood Clean-Up in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 24, 2024 – The Neighborhood Clean-Up for November is scheduled for Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Those with items to dispose of can take them to Grace Baptist Church, located on 3930 Aggie Road. Only city residents can drop off items.

City staff will be on-site to help unload items into dumpsters. Free paper lawn bags will be available for pickup while supplies last.

Accepted items include: 

  • Clothes
  • Tires (limit to eight, no rims)
  • Basketball goals
  • Furniture (i.e. chairs, beds, tables, computers, mattresses, etc.)
  • Appliances (stoves, fridges, washers, dryers, etc. Freon and compressors must be removed)
  • Paint cans (empty all paint, remove lids, any paint residue must be dry)

Items not accepted include:

  • Yard waste/limbs
  • Tractor/semi-truck tires
  • Hazmat materials (i.e. oils, fluids, batteries, flammables, automotive parts, motors, transmissions)
  • Remodeling/construction materials (single pieces acceptable)
