UPDATE: Jonesboro Police investigating early morning shooting

UPDATE: As of 9:14 a.m., 27-year-old Jessie McDuffy has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Previously:

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 15, 2024 – Jonesboro police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday morning at Philip Evans Parkway.

Officers responded after a victim arrived at a hospital for treatment for an apparent gunshot wound.

Reportedly, a second victim sought treatment for head trauma related to the incident.

According to the Jonesboro Police Department, no other victims were on scene when officers arrived.

The Criminal Investigation Division is looking into the incident. No further information is available at this time.
