Source: St. Bernards

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 28, 2024 – New and expecting parents can find all sorts of information during the upcoming St. Bernards Baby State event.

The event will take place Dec. 5 from 6-8p.m. in the St. Bernards Auditorium, located at 505 E. Washington Ave.

Mothers who attend can visit with St. Bernards’ Prenatal and Birthcare Center experts, as well as a number of vendors and educational booths. For example, the Jonesboro Police Department will be demonstrating how to properly buckle in a child’s car seat.

Patient Care Facilitator for St. Bernards Labor and Delivery Kristi Cheshire said they have held Baby State in some form since 2013. Currently it is held four times each year.

“Baby State is a great resource to come out to a free one-stop-shop and get lots of information and resources,” she said. “Not only do the parents learn about what we offer at St. Bernards in our Women’s & Children’s service line, but they can also find important resources in the community that are geared toward parents and young families.”

This educational event is free and open to the public. Topics will include pain control options, car seat and sleep safety, health and wellness tips, and infant care education. There will also be door prizes, specialty baby vendors and a newborn photographer.

For more information, go to St. Bernards Healthcare information page for upcoming events or call 870-207-7300.
