Update Monday 2:30 pm: From the Jonesboro police department Facebook page: After further investigation into this event, it was determined that the death was the result of a domestic incident. An involved party was interviewed. The investigation is still active.

Jonesboro police responded to an early morning call about a residence on Mariposa Grove Drive.

The call came in a little after 4:00 am about a window being shot out in a home. Responding officers found an adult male deceased.

The Coroner was called to the scene. The Criminal Investigation Division has taken over the case.
