Since 2018, 104.9 The Fox and Ground Crew of Jonesboro have turned the holiday lights on at the homes of some very special honorees. A first responder. Foster Family. Tornado Victim. Veteran. Teacher. Business who gives back. An unsung hero.

This holiday season, we want the lights to shine on someone who quietly cares for others. Nominate that special caregiver, foster parent, neighbor, or volunteer who gives their time, energy, and heart to others.

Ground Crew will decorate the honoree’s home for the holidays, completely free. Fat City Steak and Grill House will provide a $500 Visa Gift Card for the honoree to use on whatever they want — or need — this Christmas.

RULES
This contest runs from November 1, 2025 at 12 a.m. (Midnight) to November 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

Nominations for someone who quietly cares for others will be accepted through a registration page on TheFox1049.com and on Mix1063.com. One entry per person. All nominees must be a local person in this area; any entry or submission which does not contain a qualified nominee will be disqualified.

The winner will be selected on or about November 17, 2025, and the nominator will be contacted by phone to set up a date of service before the surprise reveal. The winning nominee will receive a full-service building decoration with Christmas theme from Ground Crew LLC Christmas Décor Division. Fat City Steak and Grill House will give a $500 Visa gift card to the winner. Extent, nature, and value of the decoration portion of the prize depends on the size of the nominee’s building and lawn. However, estimated retail cost will stay around the sum of $2,000. This value is specified by the sponsor.

The winner will be selected by a committee of judges. The winner will be selected based on the most compelling story and completeness of the nominator’s contact information. Winner will be chosen is the sole discretion of the judges. The decision of the judges is final.

This contest is being run concurrently and simultaneous on 104.9 The Fox and Mix 106.3. Listeners of said stations will then be competing against each other for the same prize.

After the most deserving person is selected, Ground Crew LLC Christmas Décor Division will decorate that nominee’s building exterior in a Christmas theme as a prize. The setup of the prize will be a surprise to the winner, the date of decoration depends on the following variables: When the nominator is able to take the nominees out of their home for an extended period of time for Ground Crew LLC to decorate the home; when weather permits. The nominee will receive the $500 Visa gift card.

Once the winner is drawn, the nominator must respond to Jonesboro Media Group’s attempts to contact within 24 hours of the drawing. If the nominator does not return contact, Jonesboro Media Group will select a different recipient for the prize.

Jonesboro Media Group reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

Jonesboro Media Group limits the local winners to someone whose home is within one of the following counties: Lawrence, AR; Greene, AR; Craighead, AR; and Poinsett, AR.

Entrants further grant to Jonesboro Media Group the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

Jonesboro Media Group reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

Jonesboro Media Group is not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to notification by phone call.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes, they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.

Jonesboro Media Group reserves the right to change the rules at any time.

No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash. Jonesboro Media Group (“JMG”) sole responsibility will be to award the prize. JMG shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included.

One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name (excluding the listener’s nomination of the nominee) will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize.  Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

104.9 The Fox and Mix 106.3 contests are open to all Northeast Arkansans 18 or older have not won anything on 104.9 The Fox, 100.5 The Eagle, Hot 107.5 and Mix 106.3 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of 104.9 The Fox, Mix 106.3,  Jonesboro Media Group, Saga Communications of Arkansas, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Jonesboro Media Group main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
