The NIght Before Christmas for 104.9 The Fox!

’Twas the Night Before Christmas — 104-9 The Fox Edition

’Twas the night before Christmas across NEA land,
And The Fox kept it country, just like listeners planned.
The stockings were hung by the studio with care,
In hopes that big country magic soon would be there.

Stafford & Frigo were snug, getting rest for the show,
Plotting pranks for the morning, as only they know.
With coffee on standby and alarms set just right,
They’d wake up Jonesboro with laughs at first light.

Christie Mathews was wrapping up gifts with a grin,
Her playlist of favorites still rolling within.
“Y’all keep me company while you work,” she would say,
And the whole region listened as she brightened their day.

Brett Hall in the afternoon—what a sight,
Checking on Santa through traffic and flights.
He kept spirits high as the sun dipped down low,
Giving shout-outs and stories with that warm country glow.

And when evening settled on houses and farms,
Ellie Smith took the mic with her magic and charm.
Her voice like a blanket, cozy and sweet,
She played country hits as Christmas lights twinkled on every street.

From the rice fields to the ridge, from the river to town,
The Fox spread cheer as the snowflakes came down.
NEA tuned in, families near and apart,
Country music and memories warming each heart.

So as Santa touched down with his sleigh from above,
104-9 The Fox sent out laughter and love.
And we heard them exclaim as the last song took flight:

“Merry Christmas, FOX COUNTRY…
And to all, a good night!”
