Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Another person has been arrested in connection with October’s downtown Jonesboro fight, making it the seventh arrest in the investigation.

District Judge David Boling found probable cause on Nov. 3 to charge Glenn Jackson with first-degree battery. Jackson was arrested after police said he was among several people involved in a fight that occurred on Oct. 5.

Court documents said police found two victims who appeared to have been beaten and required urgent medical attention. At the scene, multiple people were arrested due to interfering with officers’ duties, not the victims’ injuries.

According to Jackson’s affidavit, on Oct. 21, a detective spoke with a witness who identified Jackson as the man seen kicking an unconscious victim in the head multiple times while he lay on the ground limp. Body camera footage of the officer who originally arrested Jackson for disorderly conduct confirmed this identification based on his clothing at the time.

Jackson was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Detention Center, where he eventually bonded out on a temporary $20,000 cash/surety bond, according to the affidavit.

Jackson’s next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 16.

The other six suspects arrested in connection with the fight are 21-year-old Tawonn Donshae Amerson, 29-year-old Dashawn Cortez Pruitt, 22-year-old Kenneth Dewayne Amerson, 23-year-old Shawn Demarcus Kinnon, 21-year-old Mark Jones, and 19-year-old Mataiya Sky Phillips.
