Ruston, LA – Contributed – Arkansas State (3-7-2, 1-5-0 SBC) soccer totaled 14 shots with none scoring against Louisiana Tech (4-8-2, 2-3-1 SBC), while the Bulldogs found two second half goals on 28 total shots for the 2-0 final score Sunday afternoon at Mark Caruthers Field.

The Red Wolves and Bulldogs spent little time in the midfield, challenging each other’s back lines early and often. A-State’s first opportunity came from an open drive by Kayla Windsor, but a collision with the keeper resulted in a Red Wolf yellow card. Kennedy Horn also fired off a pair of shots that were unable to stay on target.

Arkansas State heads back home to host App State on Friday, Oct. 16, with kickoff timed to 4 p.m.
