A-State to Host Fall Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 13

Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Arkansas State University will hold the Fall Commencement exercises at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at First National Bank Arena, 217 Olympic Drive. A total of 2,335 degrees will be conferred to graduates. 

The first ceremony, at 10 a.m., will feature students from the College of Agriculture, Neil Griffin College of Business, College of Nursing and Health Professions, and University College.

Graduates walking during the second ceremony at 2 p.m. are from the Beck College of Sciences and Mathematics, College of Education and Behavioral Science, College of Engineering and Computer Science, and College of Liberal Arts and Communication.

Sydney Buchheit, an interdisciplinary studies major from Cape Girardeau, Mo., will serve as student speaker for the morning ceremony.

Jenna Hauge, an elementary education major from Jonesboro, is the student speaker for the afternoon ceremony.

No tickets are needed for the commencement exercises. The university’s clear bag policy is in effect for First National Bank Arena. No parking is allowed on grass surfaces; all parking lots at FNBA will be open and available. Those seeking more information about commencement can click here
