Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 5, 2024 – Craighead County deputies went to County Road 311 over the weekend because of a suspicious vehicle. Someone called dispatch to say that there was an ATV sitting in the middle of the road.

Deputies tried to find a VIN or a serial number on the vehicle but couldn’t. It looked like someone had tampered with the battery. Under the passenger seat, there were a couple of hammers and a drill. All the signs were pointing to the strong possibility that the ATV was stolen.

Dispatch checked recent reports for any stolen ATVs that matched the appearance of the vehicle. Nothing. Dispatch also contacted Greene County… they didn’t have any stolen ATV reports recently.

The vehicle was towed until someone can prove that it belongs to them.
