Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team has been selected to the 2026 Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) as an at-large selection. The full bracket will be released on Monday, March 16.

The Red Wolves will play in the WNIT for the first time since the 2015-16 season after making their first-ever NCAA Tournament last season, marking the program’s first time to make back-to-back postseason appearances since its two WNIT appearances in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

A-State enters the tournament 24-9 with a 14-4 conference record and a Sun Belt Championship Quarterfinals appearance. The Red Wolves enter the postseason with their most wins since the 2015-16 season and have already set program records for most three-pointers made and steals.

Information about Arkansas State’s initial matchup, along with ticketing information, will be available upon the release of the full bracket.
