Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – The Arvest Foundation recently announced a $4,000 grant to St. Bernards Development Foundation. The grant will serve as a match donation for the organization’s Giving Tuesday campaign.

Arvest Bank associates joined Kevin Hufstedler, community bank president for Arvest Bank in Jonesboro, to present a check on behalf of Arvest Foundation to Lydia Parkey, president of St. Bernards Development Foundation, Michael Givens, administrator and chief operating officer for St. Bernards Medical Center, and Alden Weeks, development manager.

“We are honored to support St. Bernards Development Foundation during the holiday season,” Hufstedler said. “St. Bernards has always been an incredible asset to our community, and we are proud to partner with them this year for Giving Tuesday.”

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 to encourage people to do good and has since grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

“This match grant makes double the impact for us on Giving Tuesday. Partners like the Arvest Foundation ensure that the Christ-like healing mission of St. Bernards Healthcare carries on for many generations,” said Parkey. “This is an investment in our community, and we are most grateful.”
