Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – BA Eats has officially closed its Southwest Drive location, choosing to consolidate operations to its remaining Jonesboro location at The Yard in response to financial issues.
In a statement released Wednesday, the local eatery cited rises in rent, food costs, and labor expenses as the primary factors driving the closure. Management noted that these expenses made it difficult to operate on the traditionally thin profit margins of the restaurant industry.

“While we hated closing our SW Drive location, it was the best decision for our business,” the restaurant shared in its announcement.
Despite the closure, BA Eats emphasized that the business itself is not shutting down. The restaurant’s second location, BA at the Yard, remains open at 1918 Aggie Road, which is 3.5 miles away from the former Southwest Drive spot. Customers can expect the same menu and atmosphere, with the consolidated location continuing to offer dine-in seating, DoorDash delivery, and a full-service bar.
Ownership expressed gratitude for the community’s ongoing support, welcoming loyal customers to continue dining with them at the Yard.
