Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – September 8, 2024 – The weather couldn’t have been better for a Sunday full of baseball in Jonesboro.

Joe Mack Campbell Park hosted the CTS For the Love of the Game one-day baseball tournament Sunday.

34 teams participating in the 7 & Under AA, 8 & Under AA, 9 & Under AA, 10 & Under AA and 11 & Under AA divisions were scheduled to participate.

The teams were coming from as far away as Collierville, TN and Poplar Bluff, MO.

The Jonesboro Advertising and Promotions Commission provides funding to support spring and summer baseball tournaments hosted by the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters. The 2024 financial award was $35,000. The A&P supports events and activities that bring visitors to town who, in turn, spend local food, lodging and retail money providing tax revenue to the city.
