The Porchlight Film Festival continued Saturday in downtown Jonesboro, bringing together filmmakers, creatives, and the community for a three-day celebration of independent storytelling. The event featured film screenings, filmmaker Q&As, workshops, panels, and networking opportunities centered around regional and emerging voices. Hosted at the Forum Theater at The Foundation of Arts, the festival—formerly known as the Oasis Film Festival—continued its mission of creating a welcoming space for storytellers while also offering community events such as a block party and free workshops. The scene resembled a mix of Black Friday and classic toy crazes, with excited kids and determined parents waiting patiently for their chance inside.
