Beck Center for Veterans to Host Fourth Annual Golf Classic in Paragould

Paragould, AR – Contributed – The fourth annual Beck Center for Veterans Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27, at Paragould Country Club. 

This event is held to benefit the Beck Center and the veterans they serve. 

“Building on the tremendous success of previous tournaments, we are looking forward to making this year’s event our biggest and most impactful yet,” said Jana Haskins, director of the Beck Center. “With the continued support of our sponsors, participants and community partners, we hope to expand participation and create an even stronger event dedicated to honoring and supporting our nation’s veterans.” 

The tournament is open to all skill levels. 

“Whether you’re an experienced golfer or want to support the Beck Center, we invite you to join us for a day of fellowship, friendly competition, and community impact,” Haskins added.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. the day of the event, with lunch being served at 11:30 a.m. There will be a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $400 per team for the four-person scramble. 

“Gather your team and join us as we come together to support the Beck Center for Veterans and the men and women who have served our country,” Haskins said. 

Registration for the tournament includes range balls, green fees, lunch, four mulligans per team, awards and prizes. There will be prizes for first, second and third place teams.  

There will also be winners selected in male and female categories for longest drive and closest to the pin. One participant will be selected for the Hole-in-One Car sponsored by Glen Sain Motors.  

Title sponsors of the golf classic include: Nucor Northeast Arkansas, BAE Systems, and Ranger Tool and Die.
