Black Oak Man Killed in Friday Morning Crash

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 7, 2024 – A Black Oak man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning.

Bobby Grisham, 87 (Mr. Grisham’s age is corrected from the original story. We originally reported his age as 93 based on the Jonesboro Police Department fatality report filed with the Arkansas State Police.), was driving a 2021 Chevy Silverado East on Highway 18 when he failed to stop at a red light and collided with a 2020 International MV607 truck.

The accident happened at 9:17am at the intersection of Highway 18 and Dr. Martin Luther King.

Jonesboro Police Department Patrolman Aaron Moore said Grisham was taken to NEA Baptist Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the International was not injured and was not identified.
