Celebrate Small Business Saturday in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 27, 2024 – Jonesboro shoppers can catch some great deals while supporting local small businesses during Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30.

The holiday was founded by American Express in 2010 and has been officially cosponsored by SBA since 2011. Since 2010, the total reported U.S. spending at small businesses during the annual Small Business Saturday is an estimated $201 billion.

Some local Small Business Saturday events include:

The third annual Gee Street Passport:

Hosted by Native Brew Works, this event begins at 8 a.m. at 515 S. Gee St. It supports Native Brew Works and several other Gee Street small businesses including the Gee Street Kitchen, La Fogata, Boo and Finni Clay Center, Verb Bookstore, and Open Studio.

Visit each participating business and get your passport stamped. Pick it up at whichever business you visit first and turn it in at the last business you visit with your name and contact info on the back. Then they will draw one winner from all the passports turned in to win a $25 Gift Certificate to each participating business.

No purchase is required to get a stamp, but you are encouraged to visit nativebrewworks.com/smallbusiness for an idea of what each business offers and a suggestion for what to try.

Downtown Jonesboro Alliance’s first-ever Culinary Crawl:

This unique dining adventure will be from 5 to 9 p.m. through Downtown Jonesboro. It is a progressive dinner taking you to multiple venues, where you’ll enjoy appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts crafted just for the event.

Tickets are available on the Downtown Jonesboro Alliance website for $48.

Participating businesses include Bamboo, Skinny J’s, Ben Yay’s and Sugar Grits, Viet Kitchen Eataholic, The Lemonade House Grille, Rice Box, Scoops, The Rec Room, BrickHouse Grill, Bubblee Milk Tea and many more.

The Christmas Expo:

This event will be from noon to 3 p.m. at the First Community Bank Community Room, 630 Southwest Drive. This small business event features Christmas shopping and giveaways, as well as a free gift for everyone.

Fizz Facial Bar’s Small Business Saturday:

This will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fizz Facial Bar of Jonesboro, 2810 E Highland Drive. This event features several beauty-inspired deals such as two for $99 Hot Chocolate Facials, a free gift with a $100 retail purchase, Dermaplaning packages and more.

Pictures with Santa and Game Card Sale:

This will be at Hijinx, located at 3102 Shelby Drive. Free Pictures with Santa will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Plus, don’t miss their exclusive gift card deals for the entertainment-lovers in your life such as a $50 card for $25, a $100 card for $50, or a $200-card for only $100.

Gift cards must be purchased in person and will only be available from 10 a.m. to noon.
