Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 27, 2024 – Get ready for bright lights and loads of Christmas fun as Christmas at the Park, presented by Ground Crew, opens tonight.

The event will start at 5:30 p.m. this evening and will continue until 8:30 p.m. at the Joe Mack Campbell Park, 600 Harry Drive.

A tradition for many Northeast Arkansas families, this dazzling light show will continue through Dec. 23, however it will not be open after Christmas this season.

Hours will include 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Christmas at the Park displays over a half-mile drive-through of an estimated 65 collections consisting of almost 450 pieces with over 400,000 lights.

Opening night features pictures with Santa, Howl, and Scarlet, as well as photo opportunities with displays near the concession stand. Plus, the first 2,500 vehicles will receive a Christmas at the Park souvenir cleaning cloth.

Although, general admission is $20 for one standard passenger vehicle (eight or less), according to the Christmas at the Park NEA Facebook, the first 27 cars enter in for free tonight.

Tune your radios to 92.7 EZ FM when you enter and sing along with your favorite holiday tunes.

Although Santa’s Village will be open every night, there will also be several Special Event Nights through the season, such as the “Jonesboro Radio Group night for Make-A-Wish presented by Central Chevrolet” on Dec 13, where the JRG team will also be supporting one of their favorite organizations, the Make A Wish Foundation.

Visitors can join their favorite JRG on-air personalities from 104.9 The Fox, Mix 106.3, 100.5 The Eagle, Hot 107.5, 98.5 The Outlaw, and 92.7 EZ FM.

JRG President and General Manager Trey Stafford said projects like Christmas at the Park require total community support.

“When Adam came to us with the idea six years ago, we couldn’t say yes to partnering fast enough,” he said. “Projects like Christmas at the Park require total community support in order to be successful. Like Blytheville.  Like Batesville. We want to do everything we can to make sure Christmas at the Park continues on.”
