City of Jonesboro sanitation routes to be on adjusted schedule for Thanksgiving holiday

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, Jonesboro sanitation routes will be on adjusted schedules the weeks of Nov. 24-29 and Dec. 1-6.

A City of Jonesboro Facebook post provided the updates to trash and recycling pickup schedules. It added that any updates would be posted on its official social media.

Nov. 24-29 Schedule:

Garbage Collection Schedule:

  • Monday, Nov. 24: Normal collection
  • Tuesday, Nov. 25: Normal collection
  • Wednesday, Nov. 26: Normal collection
  • Thursday, Nov. 27: No collection. City offices closed
  • Friday, Nov. 28: No collection. City offices closed

Recycling Collection Schedule:

  • Monday, Nov. 24: No collection
  • Tuesday, Nov. 25: 4th Tuesday
  • Wednesday, Nov. 26: 4th Wednesday
  • Thursday, Nov. 27: No collection. City offices closed
  • Friday, Nov. 28: No collection. City offices closed
