Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The City of Jonesboro invites residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to participate in Plan Jonesboro Design Week, taking place March 30 through April 2.

The multi-day workshop marks the next major phase of the City’s comprehensive planning effort to guide growth over the next 30 years.

During the week, a design team from DPZ CoDesign and Crafton Tull will work with the public to explore ideas related to land use, transportation, neighborhoods, and future development. Input gathered during interactive public sessions will directly shape the concepts developed throughout the week.

“Design Week is where ideas begin to take shape,” said Tony Thomas, City of Jonesboro’s Chief Operating Officer.  “We encourage residents and stakeholders to attend, share their perspectives, and help create a plan grounded in the values of the Jonesboro community.”

Key public events include:

  • Monday, March 30 (5:30–7:30 p.m.) – Introductory Open House at the “Y” Jonesboro Youth Community Center, 1421 W. Nettleton Ave.
  • Thursday, April 2 (5:30–7:30 p.m.) – Closing Open House at the “Y” Jonesboro Youth Community Center, 1421 W. Nettleton Ave.
  • Pop-up events within the community

Each event offers a different opportunity to participate, and the public is encouraged to attend one or more sessions throughout the week.

Additional details will be available soon at PlanJonesboro.com.
