He said when firefighters arrived, there was fire through the roof and explosions inside the clubhouse from gas tanks on the golf carts.

The Brookland Fire Department assisted with the response. Crews were on scene until 12:02 a.m. to ensure the fire was out.

No injuries have been reported, according to a Facebook post from the Brookland Fire Protection District. Another Facebook post from North Hills owner Kelly Craft shows photos of damage done to the clubhouse.

“It’s pretty traumatic, and I don’t wish a fire on anyone,” Craft told JRN.

He added that the business is closed for the time being, but he hopes to reopen near the end of next week. He said updates would be posted to the Golf North Hills website and Facebook page.
