Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is launching a new statewide hiring campaign to recruit qualified professionals for critical child welfare positions.

The campaign aims to fill vacancies throughout the state that further DCFS’ mission to protect children and strengthen families.

As part of the new campaign, DCFS will connect with potential applicants on social media, distribute informational materials highlighting a new jobs-focused webpage, and host recruitment webinars designed to connect Arkansans with these rewarding public service career opportunities.

“This work is hard, but it’s critically important,” DHS Secretary Janet Mann said. “Every day, our DCFS teams across the state visit homes to ensure that children are protected and to provide resources for families to thrive. It takes a special kind of person to do this work well, and we hope this campaign helps us identify talented individuals who are ready to join the team and make a real difference in our state.”

Positions highlighted in the hiring campaign include Social Services Assistant, Social Services Specialist, and Social Services Supervisor.

“These front-line roles provide critical support to Arkansas children and families who may be facing difficult circumstances,” said DCFS Director Tiffany Wright said. “While the work can be demanding, joining DCFS offers an opportunity to make a lasting and meaningful impact in communities throughout the state. And we offer great pay, strong benefits, and the chance to grow your career in a rewarding way.”

These positions were among those that received increases in base salary as part of Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ state government pay plan last year. Positions highlighted in the hiring campaign range from approximately $35,000 to $93,000 annually.
