Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – Get ready to laissez les bons temps rouler for a great cause.

In October, the Family Crisis Center (FCC) will bring the spirit and flavors of Cajun country to Jonesboro with CajunFest, an evening of unlimited Cajun-inspired food and drinks, live and silent auctions, a raffle and opportunities to support survivors throughout Northeast Arkansas.

CajunFest is more than a night of great food and fun – it is a night with purpose. Proceeds from the event benefit the Family Crisis Center, which has been providing critical support to the Northeast Arkansas community for 40 years.

The FCC provides shelter, advocacy and a wide range of services to survivors of both domestic and sexual violence. Those services include but are not limited to safe shelter, daily meals, trauma counseling, mental health therapy, legal advocacy and forensic exams.

“Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship pledged helps sustain critical services for survivors across Northeast Arkansas,” said Casey Kidd, Executive Director of the FCC. “Donor support allows us to truly assist survivors to move from victimization to empowerment. Together, we’re building a safer, more compassionate community.”

In addition to an evening of Cajun-inspired food and drinks, guests can enjoy live and silent auctions, a raffle and a donation drive. Tickets are $100 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available.

CajunFest will be held from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Harmony Gardens, 4517 E. Parker Road.
