Food Truck Stolen in Jonesboro Found Damaged

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A food truck that had been reported stolen early Monday morning has been found damaged in Jonesboro.

Los Arcos Mexican Cuisine posted on its social media Monday morning that its food truck, which usually sits near St. Bernards Medical Center, was stolen, and called for the public’s help in locating it.

The food truck was later found in a field off Daybreak and Tonya Drives around 11:22 a.m., according to Sally Smith, public information official for the Jonesboro Police Department. Photos included in an update post on the restaurant’s social media page showed damage to the vehicle, such as a cracked windshield and trashed interior.

Carlo Resendiz with Los Arcos told K8 News that the truck’s damages estimated around $25,000.

“While this situation has been very upsetting, we are incredibly grateful for our community,” the update post said. “As many of you know, we are a family-owned business, and all of our hard work and dedication goes into what we do every day. This has been a tough moment for us, but we’re staying positive.”

The restaurant posted a GoFundMe link on its social media to help in paying for repairs. The link can be found here.
