Giving Guide 2025: Holiday donation drives across Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – With the holiday season in full swing, JRN has created a list of holiday donation drives across Jonesboro, covering everything from food to toys to clothes.

Food Drives:

Fill the Food Bank:

  • When: Nov. 21 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Benefitting: The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas
  • What to Donate: Non-perishable food items and cash. Monetary donations can be made online here.
  • Drop-off Locations: The main drop-off location is the Walmart located at 1815 E. Highland Drive. However, there are also 15 satellite donation locations across Northeast Arkansas, which can be found here.
  • Details: The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, K8, and the Jonesboro Media Group are teaming up to raise 350,000 meals to help those in need. More information here.

Jonesboro Food Drive Face-Off:

  • When: Nov. 14 to Dec. 12
  • Benefitting: This food drive will support a backpack program feeding 739 students across Jonesboro. Donations can also be made to support Jonesboro Animal Services
  • Details: The City of Jonesboro, Jonesboro Police Department, Jonesboro Fire Department, and Jonesboro Economic Transit (JET) are facing off to see who can collect the most items for those in need. More information here.
  • What to Donate: Non-perishable food items. Dog and cat food for Jonesboro Animal Services
  • Drop-off Locations: There are various drop-off locations across the city for each agency. To support a particular agency, drop off items at that agency’s location. Complete location list here.

No Hunger November:

  • When: Nov. 1 to Nov. 30
  • Benefitting: The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas and the Visual Performing Arts of Jonesboro Schools
  • What to Donate: Non-perishable food items
  • Drop-off Location: Donation barrels at Central Baptist Church, 3707 Harrisburg Road

Families, Inc. Community Food Drive:

  • When: Nov. 1 to Nov. 30
  • Benefitting: The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas
  • What to Donate: Non-perishable food items and canned goods
  • Drop-off Location: Jonesboro Clinic, 1815 Pleasant Grove Road

Skinny J’s Food Drive:

  • When: Ends Dec. 25
  • Benefitting: The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, local Backpack Programs
  • What to Donate: Non-perishable food items
  • Drop-off Locations: Skinny J’s Jonesboro restaurant, 205 S. Main St.; Skinny J’s Paragould restaurant, 117 N. Pruett St.
  • Details: Food items kids can prepare by themselves will go to the Backpack Programs; all other donations will go to the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas. When patrons donate 10 items, they will get a free burger and fries. More information here.

Valley View Food Drive:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Dec. 12
  • Benefitting: Families needing food this holiday season, Valley View Backpack Program
  • What to Donate: Food items to donate have been determined by grade. Click here for a list of what to donate. Monetary donations can be made here.
  • Drop-off Location: Valley View School District

Toy Drives:

Jonesboro Cycle and ATV Christmas Toy Drive:

  • When: Toy collection started Nov. 1 and will end Dec. 12. Toy giveaways will be Dec. 13.
  • Benefitting: Children in need of toys this holiday season
  • What to Donate: New toys that are unwrapped and in their original packaging. Used toys will not be accepted.
  • Drop-off Location: Jonesboro Cycle and ATV, located at 11759 US-63 N. in Bono. It is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Quick Lane Christmas Toy Drive:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Dec. 20
  • Benefitting: Children in need of toys this holiday season
  • What to Donate: New, unwrapped toys
  • Drop-off Location: Quick Lane Jonesboro, 1901 S. Caraway Road
  • Details: For every $20 worth of toys each person donates, they will get one entry to win a total service package for their vehicle. More information here.

Clothing/Warming Items Drives:

Week of Warmth:

  • When: Dec. 1 to Dec. 6
  • Benefitting: United Way of Northeast Arkansas
  • Details: Participating Jonesboro restaurants will give a portion of sales to United Way. Each restaurant will have a donation box for warming items. There will also be a collection box at JoyFest. More information here.
  • What to Donate: Items such as blankets, hats, gloves, scarves, and socks. Monetary donations will also be accepted and can be made here.

DLP Jonesboro Winter Coat Drive:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Dec. 15
  • Benefitting: Those needing warm items this holiday season
  • What to Donate: New or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves. All sizes accepted.
  • Drop-off Location: DLP Jonesboro Leasing Office, 3719 Stadium Blvd.

Share the Warmth:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Jan. 2, 2026.
  • Benefitting: Those needing warm items this holiday season
  • What to Donate: New or gently used coats, socks, or pajamas
  • Details: Donate the above-listed items and receive a coupon for that week’s featured partner. A list of featured partners for each week of the drive can be found here.
  • Drop-off Locations: Visionary Eye Care, 2980 Browns Lane; Northeast Arkansas Dentistry, 910 Enterprise Drive; A Beautiful Mess Salon, 2704 Phillips Drive

NEA Divine Intervention Winter Coat Drive:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Dec. 10
  • Benefitting: Those needing warm items this holiday season
  • What to Donate: New or clean, gently used coats, jackets, scarves, gloves, and hats for children and adults.
  • Drop-off Location: 2222 Spence Circle

Legacy Lane Collective Winter Blanket Drive:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Dec. 1.
  • Benefitting: Seniors needing warm items this holiday season
  • What to Donate: New or gently used blankets
  • Drop-off Locations: Arkansas Federal Credit Union, 3313 E. Johnson Ave.; Arkansas Department of Workforce Services, 2311 E. Nettleton Ave.; First Community Bank, 910 Chancery Lane

Mayor’s Youth Advancement Council Giving Tree:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Jan. 2, 2026.
  • Benefitting: Those in need of warm items and hygiene products.
  • What to Donate: Gloves, scarves, socks, hats, blankets, shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, and more. The full accepted items list is here.
  • Drop-off Location: Jonesboro Municipal Building, 300 S. Church St.
  • Details: The Giving Tree was set up on Nov. 17. Those in need simply take what they need from the tree, which is also at the Jonesboro Municipal Building. More information here.

Salvation Army Drives:

Angel Tree:

  • When: Items for selected Angels must be turned in Dec. 14 by 5 p.m. Items will be distributed Dec. 17 at 9 a.m.
  • Benefitting: Children aged 12 and under needing Christmas gifts and warm clothes this season
  • What to Donate: Shop for the items on the selected Angel Tag
  • Drop-off Locations: Items can be dropped at the same store the Angel was picked from or the Salvation Army of Jonesboro’s office, located at 800 Cate Ave.
  • Details: Angel Tags can be picked up at the Salvation Army of Jonesboro’s office or from trees at participating businesses. Participating Jonesboro businesses are listed below:

Angel Tree Silver Bells:

  • When: Items for selected Silver Bells must be turned in Dec. 14 by 5 p.m. Items will be distributed Dec. 17 at 9 a.m.
  • Benefitting: Adults aged 65 and older needing help this holiday season
  • What to Donate: Shop for listed items on selected the Silver Bell
  • Drop-off Location: Salvation Army of Jonesboro’s office
  • Details: Silver Bells can be picked up at the Salvation Army of Jonesboro’s office

Red Kettle Campaign:

  • When: Nov. 21 to Dec. 24
  • Benefitting: The Salvation Army of Jonesboro’s various year-round programs.
  • What to Donate: Monetary donations can be made at any of the Red Kettle locations across Jonesboro or at the Salvation Army’s Jonesboro office. They can also be made online here.

  • Details: Volunteers to serve as bell ringers for the campaign are being sought. Click here to register. The campaign aims to raise $150,000 for the Salvation Army of Jonesboro. More information here.

Pet/Animal Supply Drives:

A-State Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club Drive:

  • When: Donations will be accepted until Dec. 4
  • Benefitting: Northeast Arkansas Humane Society
  • What to Donate: Dog and cat food, treats, other necessary pet items.
  • Drop-off Locations: Drop-off locations on the A-State campus are listed below:
    • Lobby of the College of Agriculture building
    • Lab Sciences East building
    • Student help desk on the second floor of the Reng Student Union
  • Drop-off locations across Jonesboro are listed below:
    • Hollywood Feed, 2206 E. Highland Drive
    • Tractor Supply, 2605 Red Wolf Blvd.
    • Jonesboro Police Department, 1001 S. Caraway Road
