Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – August 1, 2024 – Jonesboro police are investigating the theft of several HVAC units, all in the same neighborhood, all in one night.
There are three houses, side-by-side, in the 3900 block of Saddlecrest Drive and three houses close together in the 3700 block of Glitterman Drive… and they’re all missing the AC unit.
In some cases, windows were damaged in what looks like forced entry. Several electrical boxes were destroyed.
JRN spoke to a couple of neighbors who didn’t seem surprised by the thefts.
“We just bought a house in Paragould, and we can’t wait to get out of here,” they said.
One of the Glitterman houses was not only missing its AC unit, but the refrigerator and the oven were also taken. All of the houses appeared to be vacant.
An investigation is underway by JPD.
