Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Hytrol and Dan’s Health Club will once again be hosting the 2025 Hytrol Industrial Park 5K/10K next month, benefitting the Jonesboro Church Health Center (JCHC).

Event coordinator Hannah Freeland, who is also the Hytrol Conveyor Co. Health Club Coordinator, said the event is meant to bring together the Jonesboro community and Hytrol employees in a fun and active way.

“This race is more than just a run; it’s a celebration of our community coming together. It’s exciting to see neighbors, friends, and Hytrol employees all out on race day, supporting each other and staying active,” Freeland said. “The event highlights the importance of health and wellness while giving back to a great cause. Every year, the energy, encouragement, and smiles at the finish line remind us why we do this: bringing the community together, inspiring healthy habits, and making a real difference in people’s lives.”

All race proceeds will benefit the JCHC, which provides medical, dental and other wellness services to individuals and families who are uninsured or underinsured.

“The funds raised through registrations and sponsorships directly benefit the center, which provides affordable healthcare and wellness services to those who might not otherwise have access,” she said. “Beyond the financial impact, the event also brings people together, encouraging teamwork, connection, and a shared commitment to making Jonesboro a healthier place to live.”

This year’s goal is to increase participation among both Hytrol employees and the broader Jonesboro community and to raise more funds than in previous years. Freeland noted that she’d like to surpass last year’s fundraising total, which was around $3,000.

The race will be on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. until noon at Hytrol, located at 2020 Hytrol St.

According to Freeland, the first 150 participants to sign up will receive a swag bag, and anyone who registers by 8 a.m. on Oct. 17 is guaranteed a race T-shirt. After that date, the T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants can sign up individually or as part of a team. Registration is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. Those unable to participate but want to support the cause can also sign up as a Spirit Runner.

Registration fees are $25 per person for the 5K and Spirit runners and $35 per person for 10K runners through Oct. 31. However, beginning Nov. 1, registration fees increase to $35 for the 5K and Spirit runners and $50 for 10K runners.

The deadline to register is Nov. 7. To register, click here.
