JET trollies to offer rides through Christmas at the Park

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jonesboro Economical Transit (JET) buses will be providing rides through Christmas at the Park.

According to a post on the JET Facebook page, JET trollies will provide rides through Christmas at the Park on Dec. 20 for Jonesboro Holiday Trolley Day. Trollies will pick up riders at the bus stop on Madison Street next to Winter Wonderland.

There are multiple time slots available, which are listed below. There are only 20 tickets per time slot.

  • 5:30 p.m.
  • 5:45 p.m.
  • 6 p.m.
  • 6:30 p.m.
  • 6:45 p.m.
  • 7 p.m.
  • 7:30 p.m.
  • 7:45 p.m.
  • 8 p.m.
  • 8:30 p.m.

“Share a ride at Christmas in the Park in one of our trollies,” Mayor Harold Copenhaver said during the mayor’s reports of Tuesday’s city council meeting. “They’ll [the trollies] go through the park and then turn around and come right back.”

Adult tickets cost $5 per person, while children 12 and under ride free. Tickets can be purchased in the Collections Department of the Municipal Center, located at 300 S. Church St.

“Come celebrate the season with lights, laughter, and a magical ride through the park,” JET’s post said. “We can’t wait to see you there.”
