Jonesboro Library Hosting Events for All Ages in April

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library has events for all ages scheduled in April.

A monthly meeting of the Tween Book Club is set for Tuesday, April 7, from 4-5 p.m. in the Tween Zone. This month’s book is “The School of Wicked Witches” by Will Taylor. May’s book will be “It’s Wish” by Barbara O’Connor.

There is a limited number of each book that is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one book at a time may be picked up for the following month’s meeting. For more information, visit the Youth Service Desk or email mheyl@libraryinjonesboro.org.

On Friday, April 10, the library will host an adults-only workshop titled Posca Pen Pots. During this workshop, participants will decorate terracotta plant pots using Posca paint pens.

This workshop will take place from 4:30 to 5:50 p.m. in the library’s Round Room. Registration is required, and it will open April 3. To secure a spot, call the library or visit the Adult Services Desk.

Then, on Saturday, April 11, the NEA Gamers Guild: Library Game Day will take place. This is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Round Room, with visitors having a chance to win their own copy of the games played. Cosplay is welcome.
