Jonesboro library hosts library card sign-up drive & giveaway

Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Sept. 2, 2025 – In honor of National Library Card Sign-up Month this September, the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is hosting a library card sign-up drive.

Patrons who register for a library card between Sept. 2 and Sept. 30 will be entered into a drawing to win a Kindle Paperwhite.  

Signing up for a library card is free. Residents of Craighead and Poinsett Counties are eligible with a valid photo I.D. and proof of mailing address, such as a driver’s license or a piece of mail.

For those unable to visit the library in person, digital library cards may also be created through the library’s website on a desktop computer. Both physical and digital cards will be entered into the prize drawing.
