Jonesboro Library Launches “Hooked on Books” Adult Book Club

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is launching a new adult book club, Hooked on Books, with its first meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, at 10:30 a.m. in the Civic League Room.

This monthly discussion group will focus on a variety of fiction, including literary fiction, popular fiction, and occasional mysteries. The goal of the program is to encourage readers to broaden their horizons while enjoying engaging and entertaining literature in a group environment.

During the first meeting, participants will receive a list of titles and help select future books for the group. Members will also receive the first pre-selected title to read ahead of the next session.

After each monthly discussion, participants will receive the next month’s book, provided by the library at no cost. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

Interested participants must sign up by Monday, June 8, at 5 p.m. To sign up, email vanessa@libraryinjonesboro.org with your contact information.

“The goal of this group is to create a relaxed and enjoyable space where readers can discover new authors, explore different styles of fiction, and connect with others who love books,” said Vanessa Adams, Library Director.

Hooked on Books will meet every second Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m.
