Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 19, 2025 – A Jonesboro man is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond after police said he posted nude photos of a victim online and threatened to share more unless they got back together.
According to an affidavit, on Sept. 17, the victim reported to Jonesboro police that 19-year-old Auston Drake Presley had been constantly contacting them and threatening to post nude photos of them on Facebook. The victim discovered that Presley had already posted two nude photos of them on his Snapchat story and was contacted by another person about them being viewable, the affidavit said.
The affidavit said surveillance video given by the victim showed a vehicle belonging to Presley driving into the parking lot of the victim’s workplace. A person is seen getting out of the vehicle, walking to the victim’s vehicle, and kneeling on the passenger side of the vehicle.
It was discovered that the victim’s rear tire had been cut. The affidavit said Presley also sent photos to the victim, showing the victim’s vehicle at their workplace and that he was outside. This led to Presley being blocked on all forms of communication.
The affidavit said the victim provided police screenshots of Presley’s Snapchat profile and a screenshot of a conversation between them and Presley on Facebook Messenger. Police said screenshots of Presley’s Snapchat story were also given, containing indecent photos of the victim. In the conversation, Presley threatened to post more nude photos of the victim unless they “returned to him.”
On Sept. 19, District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge Presley with sexual extortion, third-degree stalking, first-degree criminal mischief, and unlawful distribution of sexual images or recordings. He referred to the allegations in the affidavit as “extremely troubling.”
In addition to the $100,000 bond, Presley was ordered to have no contact with the victim and wear a GPS ankle monitor upon release.
Presley’s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 30.
