Jonesboro Man Dies After August Motorcycle Crash

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Police said a Jonesboro man died following a two-vehicle collision last month at Highway 18 (East Highland Drive) and Rains Street.

According to a preliminary fatal crash summary released by Arkansas State Police (ASP), the crash occurred at approximately 11 a.m. Aug. 19.

Roger Allen McMillan, 82, was driving a 2006 Honda FSC600 southbound on Rains Street. The report stated that McMillan turned at a red light, crossed the outside lane, and entered the westbound lane of Highway 18, where his vehicle struck a 2016 Hyundai.

McMillan was fatally injured in the crash. No other injuries were reported. ASP noted the weather was clear and roads were dry at the time of the crash.
