Jonesboro Post Consumer Brands Employees Pack Snack Packs for Local Schools as Part of Volunteer Effort

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Eighty-five Post Consumer Brands employees in Jonesboro assembled snack packs for area schools.

In partnership with Greater Twin Cities United Way, the employees’ snack packs were to benefit families facing food insecurity in Nettleton Public Schools and Brookland Elementary School.

It was part of Post Consumer Brands’ fifth annual company-wide Ingredients for Good volunteer initiative, which helps those facing food insecurity. It is hosted in April, which is National Volunteer Month.

“As we celebrate five years of Post Consumer Brands’ Ingredients for Good volunteer initiative, we reflect on the meaningful impact we’ve created in Jonesboro to support people within our community that face food insecurity. We appreciate the opportunity to give back again this year by packing food kits through Greater Twin Cities United Way to deepen our connection in Jonesboro and the surrounding communities through these volunteer efforts,” said Brigette Fresz, Jonesboro senior site director at Post Consumer Brands.

Throughout April, all of the company’s 24 locations participated in different volunteer efforts. Jonesboro employees have volunteered over 400 hours in community service, and the company has invested over $70,000 in meal donations, including this year’s donation over the volunteer campaign’s five years.

The Jonesboro Post Consumer Brands plant is located at 5800 C.W. Post Road.
