Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 9, 2025 – The Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club will be displaying United States flags during daylight hours at many Jonesboro businesses and offices on Thursday in recognition of 9/11.

The flag display is part of a longstanding service project provided to the community by the club, which provides both the flags, poles, and flag brackets for $45 per year.

Club members display the flags at least ten times a year on national holidays and special days, weather permitting, which the club defines as a less than 50 percent chance of rain.

For more information or a flag contract, contact Flag Committee chairman Pat Snodgrass at (870) 761-0132 or any Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club member.
