The preliminary state police investigation indicates that Marr’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a gravel pull-off, which caused the vehicle to become airborne. The Ford Escape then landed on the opposite side of the pull-off and rolled over.

Marr, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

State police noted that weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash. The incident was investigated by Arkansas State Police Trooper Corey D. Bates. Marr’s body was released to Tri-County Funeral Home, and next of kin have been notified.
