Jonesboro’s June Neighborhood Cleanup Scheduled

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The City of Jonesboro announced the date of June’s Neighborhood Cleanup.

It is set for Saturday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to noon at Fisher Street United Methodist Church, located at 311 Fisher St. Cardboard and glass recycling services will be available at the cleanup. It is for city residents only.

Accepted items are listed below:

  • Clothes
  • Tires (limit to eight, no rims)
  • Basketball goals
  • Furniture (includes electronics such as TVs, computers and printers)
  • Appliances such as dryers, washers and fridges (freon and compressors must be removed)
  • Paint cans (must be empty of all paint, lids must be removed, and any residue must be dry)

The city will not accept the following:

  • Yard waste/limbs
  • Tractor/semi tires
  • Hazmat materials, such as oils, flammable or corrosive materials, automotive parts, or motors
  • Remodeling/construction materials (single pieces are accepted, however)
